Lip Blush Aftercare

After your procedure:

• For the first day post procedure, blot lips with a clean, moist paper towel and apply A&D aftercare hourly

  This will reduce flaking and scabbing

• Continue applying the A&D aftercare liberally for the next 10+ days

• To reduce inflammation or discomfort, you may take Ibuprofen/Tylenol

Over the course of the next week your lips will naturally exfoliate. You may experience a tightness or dryness.

• It is imperative that you do not pick at your healing lips or apply makeup to them. If desired, you may apply makeup after 10 days.

When you return for your touch up, lips will appear lighter and softer. They may also appear slightly patchy. This is normal and they will be perfected during this session.

Things to avoid while healing:

• No spicy or salty foods

• Don’t do kissy stuff!

• Avoid submerging them in water for extended periods

• No harsh facial products (Retinols/AHAs, BHAs, etc.)

• No direct sun exposure, teeth whitening or smoking

• If you plan on having lip filler, please wait at least 3 weeks post procedure

Aftercare ointment recommendations:

We will send you home with A&D ointment that is formulated to keep your lips moisturized.

Ingredients: Petrolatum.
