Eyeliner/Lash Line Aftercare
After your procedure:
In 2-3 hours blot the treatment area with a clean, damp paper towel. Follow with a small amount of aftercare gel.
Repeat this step 1-2 times a day for 3-5 days following your procedure.
To reduce inflammation or discomfort, you may take Ibuprofen/Tylenol or ice the area. Be sure to put ice in a clean ziplock bag.
Over the course of 7 days your liner will shrink and may become dry. You may experience a “tightness” at this time.
Do not pick at your healing liner or apply makeup to the area for 7 days. Do not apply eyelash extensions for a minimum of 2 weeks following your procedure.
When you return for your touch up, your liner will have softened and may appear slightly patchy. This is normal and will be perfected during this session. At this time, you have the option to create a bolder finished look.
Things to avoid while healing:
Eye makeup
False Lashes/Lash Extensions
Avoid submerging eyes in water for an extended period of time ie: swimming
Avoid direct sun exposure/tanning beds
Aftercare ointment recommendations:
We will send you home with an aftercare ointment specifically formulated for your healing eyeliner.
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Patchouli Oil, Jojoba Oil.
In the case of allergens, we would recommend using a very thin layer of a mild, unscented lotion ie: Cetaphil.
